Annette, Derrik's Mother, has been co-owner since the beggining. She is the one that keeps the car looking great at the track, and also keeps the Ortega Crew from starving by cooking on the road.
Manny, Derrik's Father, has been co-owner and crew chief for the Ortega Racing Team from the beginning. Long hours at work, in the shop and on the road make it possible for the Ortega Team to go racing.
Mark lives near Oklahoma City, OK and has been helping the Ortega Racing Team since the Mini Sprint days. He comes out for the eastern trips and also makes his way to the southwest for many shows to help in any way possible.
Mark is from Denver, Co and was a huge part in the Ortega Racing championship in 2008. He still comes out to work on the car when we travel north and for some special shows.
Kelly and Bobby both come along to help out when it is needed during the southwestern trips. Bobby is also the on-board videographer with some cool shots from his on-board camera.
Cody and Austin have raced with Derrik since the quarter midget days and they all still help each other out in their racing today. Cody and Austin both help Derrik out in the shop and at the track.
